Eligibility to register as a future voter

To be eligible to register as a future voter, you must be:

• 16 or 17 years old;
• a Canadian citizen; and
• a resident of Ontario 

Search the Register of Future Voters to confirm, update, add or remove your voter information. Only the applicant can update, add or remove their information. We will not accept forms submitted on behalf of another person.

You will need to provide one piece of accepted ID showing both your name and home address.

Alternatively, you can complete a paper application form.
